Kelly Garni has been in business for 18 years. As a photographer, he has excelled in every style, proving himself to be one of the best in the city. Self-taught, he has developed a style all his own and continues to explore different and unique ways to give his clients flattering and stunning images with an artistic twist. His youth provided him with a great platform to learn how to develop ways to standout. At the age of eleven, he became friends with a future guitar legend, Randy Rhoads. The two boys had only one passion and that was to be as good as they possibly could. With Kelly on bass, the duo played in numerous bands for years, until they formed chart topping heavy metal band, Quiet Riot. After four years with the band, Kelly decided he wanted to see a different side of life, and went in a direction that surprised everyone. He became a paramedic. With his long hair gone, and his stage clothes left in the closet, he worked the streets of Los Angeles for ten years. The drastic departure from his former self taught him much. And he often says that in the same way he calmed his patients in the back of an ambulance, he uses the same principles to make his subjects comfortable in front of the camera. A valuable thing when shooting weddings and making normally camera shy brides, grooms and family feel at ease. He also had spent plenty of time on the other side of the camera himself while with the band.
